Design special hone with reverse taper for mounting of reamer element.
- Single or double stage reamer depending on stock allowance.
- DBG-P and CBN tipped.
- Reduction of burrs in cross holes.
- Can be used for all through hole bores.
U AXIS HEAD WITH AIR POWER GRINDING WHEEL SET UP SOLUTION
Proposed process:
- The rotation from grinding stone will be done with air instead of coolant (this must be possible to switch at this existing machine). By feed out the slide from u-axis we can control the diameter. If we use a diamond grinding pin, then it can be use without axial swing.
- Important will be how to measure/control the diameter. So, this measuring/correction process will be the bigger questions.
- Need to Develope process for complete machining of the part in both hard and soft state,
- Goal to get rid of the secondary process with lights out system.
- Straight bores with no interruption possible Komflex solution in combination with "U" axis grinding.
